With extensive international experience in epidemic intelligence, surveillance, and information systems, Dr C\u00e1ceres-Soto previously worked for 10 years as a Head of the World Animal Health Information and Analysis Department at the WOAH, after serving as a senior veterinary epidemiologist in the same organisation. Earlier in her career, she worked in Chile for 11 years in three government ministries, focusing on national information systems, traceability, animal trade, and disease prevention. She has also been a lecturer in veterinary epidemiology.
