PREZODE participated in the 5th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, Nov 11-12. The initiative has been selected as a significant promising governance project and will benefit from dedicated and customized support for a full year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9lisabeth Claverie de Saint-Martin,<\/strong> chair of CIRAD, took part in the roundtable “early warning systems and responses to emergence”, with the support of IRD and INRAE. She presented our solutions for inclusive surveillance based on prevention and built in a bottom-up approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the stand, we showcased the latest developments of the initiative and had the opportunity to discuss with high personalities and other initiatives representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On yeau of precious support and advice action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thierry Lefran\u00e7ois<\/strong>, on behalf of our members, gave a pitch presentation to the Scale-Up Committee. The PREZODE initiative was selected as Scale-up project in 2022 by the Paris Peace Forum. Throughout the year to come, the Scale-Up Committee of the PFF will provide PREZODE advice and recommendations to support advocacy, communication, and organizational development activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This selection rewards the amazing work of the initiators. It reflects the trust of all members in the initiative. It demonstrates that research and prevention are crucial to detect zoonosis emergence, protect populations and tackle pandemics, thus contributing to peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, the Paris Peace Forum selects ten projects among those showcased at the Forum for their strong development potential and concrete impact on global governance issues. Selected projects receive customized support from the Scale-up Committee, which includes mentoring by high-level personalities, peer learning, and consulting that aims to support their development and amplify their impact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
