Dr. Thierry Lefran\u00e7ois, PhD and General Inspector of veterinary public health, is the Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer of CIRAD. A Co-founder of PREZODE, he is a Member of the ExCom. His research activities have focused on\u00a0disease\u00a0emergence (mainly vector-borne diseases) and the development of interactions between research and surveillance in the framework of regional health networks in the South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is currently a member of the Committee for Monitoring and Insuring Health Risks, which advises the French government (COVARS). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
