Dr. Anne-Laure Ba\u00f1uls is a Director of Research at the IRD and serves as the Scientific Focal Point for the PREZODE initiative (https:\/\/prezode.org\/<\/a>), as well as the Regional Focal Point for Southeast Asia. She leads the PREACTS-AfriCam project in Cambodia. Her research focuses on the ecology and evolution of infectious diseases, including zoonoses, by studying the various compartments in which pathogens evolve\u2014hosts, environments, and vectors.Anne-Laure holds a PhD in Biology \u2013 Health Sciences.
